Pastor Jerry Favor started Victory Church on July 24th, 1994. He has been the pastor ever since.
Pastor Favor is committed to expository preaching with practical applications so that all may understand and grow through the preaching of the word. He has a desire to see families grow together, worship together, and serve together. He also has a passion to see people come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Pastor Favor grew up in south east Texas and graduated with a BA in Christian Education from the Institute of Christian Education in Lewisville, Texas. He then obtained a masters degree in Church Ministries from Freedom Seminary in Orlando Florida.
Pastor Favor spent the first several years of ministry working with the youth at Grace Fundamental Church in Lewisville Texas as one of 2 assistant pastors. He then took a position as youth pastor at Central Park Baptist Church in Carrolton Texas after which he moved to Burney California where he worked in the Christian School Ministry of Intermountain Baptist Church in Burney California. In 1989 he moved to Fresno California where he helped start the Ambassador Baptist Church (now Fresno Church).
Pastor Favor is married to his wonderful wife Lynette Favor and have 10 beautiful children and 13 grandchildren.
